835,000kg Of Surplus Food Collected

The Malaysian Food Bank programme has since August this year, collected a whopping 835,000 kilogrammes of surplus food. Datuk Seri Saifuddin said the programme is a public initiative aimed to increase awareness among consumers to prepare food only in the required amounts and to help the relevant parties manage surplus food in a systematic manner.
