Hitachi, Ltd. presented and exhibited its uCosminexus Navigation Platform software at the ITpro Expo 2008. This new product from Hitachi makes it possible to visualize workflow and operation procedures with flowcharts and guidance on business processes in individual units for in-house office functions.



With the widespread use of IT, tasks are summarized in front systems that are dependent on individual expertise. Therefore, Hitachi developed the new middleware to provide a means for sharing knowledge and know-how accumulated from individual experience with the entire organization and to support the sharing and systemizing of work processes and operations.



The uCosminexus Navigation Platform software is scheduled to be released in February 2009 but a beta version is available for use before then.
