http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com The Kerry Way from Glenbeigh to Lough Acoose, a short distance from Glencar, left from behind The Towers Hotel and we were on our way on a very windy day. Across more stiles, pastures, skirting the slopes of Seefin Mountain and down into the Caragh Valley. A forest area has been decimated by loggers and if it wasn't for the well-marked posts indicating the way, I doubt if we ever could have found the way through all the stumps. Linda (Walk, Hike, Bike with South West Ireland) had given us instructions to telephone Mary Healy at Lough Acoose if the weather was bad and/or we were tired. Say no more!
