The information can be quickly obtained by placing the IC card over the poster or display that is connected with a non-contact IC card reader. The GPS information of the user is sent to the service industries and can act as an effective marketing tool. The FeliCa Chip ID numbers are unique and so one persons information cannot be mistaken for anothers. A further application of this includes management of point cards and coupons which users can download at participating stores. Users can also listen to messages or music by holding their reader against a USB speaker plus they can download information from a streaming server.
