The agreement on national unity signed between Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta will ensure that all who lost their lives as a result of police brutality during the electoral period are compensated. Siaya Senator James Orengo said that is a major component of the deal, and that there would be no national healing without it. Speaking during the burial of high court Judge Joseph Louis Onguto in Dudi, Siaya County, he said that President Uhuru Kenyatta should get rid of individuals within his party who may not want to see the agreement work.
