At CEATEC Japan 2007, U'eyes Design explained a new prototype development process.

With written proposals or traditional paper-based prototypes, it is hard to evaluate products equipped with sophisticated functions and rich graphic expressions.

More practical prototypes are needed to test the usability and validity of a product and address technological problems in the early stages of development.

To provide a better idea of this process, the company announced Viewmo, a prototype viewer that comes with a new interface designed for mobile handsets and other small-LCD devices such as games.

With Viewmo, the user can intuitively see what they want to see in a prototype, only by moving the device like a computer mouse. Along with this capability, this interface allows the user to view larger areas than the display size. The menu selection algorithm is much simpler than computer keystrokes.
