A tit-for-tat spat between the county government of Nairobi and the Kenya National Highways Authority is playing out at taxpayers' cost. On Thursday last week, KeNHA dismantled footpaths erected by the county administration, along Mombasa Road, between Nyayo Stadium and Bellevue, asserting its authority. In retaliation, the Mike Sonko led government defaced pedestrian fences along the same stretch, that bore the KeNHA branding. NTV's Olive Burrows examines why this battle of supremacy, could have very real life or death consequences.
