SABUDANA ALOO TIKKI – SABUDANA TIKKI RECIPE – SABUDANA VADA- NAVRATRI FAST RECIPE
Ingredients
Sabudana (Sago Seeds) : 2 Cups (washed & soaked overnight for 8 to
10 hours . Strain excess water by a strainer)
Potatoes : 4 (Boiled & Peeled )
Peanut Powder : 1 Cup (Dry Roast Peanuts & dry grind coarsely
Coriander : ½ Cup (optional)
Jeera (Cumin seeds) : 1 tsp
Sendha Namak (Rock Salt) : 1 tsp
Green Chillies : 4 (finely chopped)
Method of Preparation
• In a bowl we have taken soaked Sabudana (Sago Seeds). We’ll grate boiled Potatoes in it ( You can either grate Potatoes or mash them)
• Add Peanut Powder. Mix well
• Add Cumin seeds, Green Chillies, Rock Salt, Coriander (optional). Mix well with hand.
• Make small balls of it
• We’ve made small balls of Sabudana (Sago seeds). Now we’ll flatten them
• Apply some oil on your palm and flatten them
• We have flattened all Sabudana balls. Now we will deep fry these Sabudana Tikkis’.
• We have heated oil in pan. Now we’ll deep fry Sabudana Tikkis . Keep the flame on high
• We’ll fry till golden brown and flip on other side
• Our Sabudana Aloo Tikki’s are fried. We’ll now serve them in a plate
• Our Sabudana Aloo Tikki is ready. We have served them with Green chutney
• We can serve with Sweet curd for fasting.
