FRIGO-M Mitsubishi Electric TOKKI Systems Mitsubishi Electric TOKKI Systems' FRIGO-M is a new data collection robot with applications ranging from disaster site data collection to everyday uses. FRIGO-M realizes superior functionality with its small size and light weight, and is ready for immediate use in emergency situations. The robot can be customized to meet different needs by equipping it with various types of sensors. For example, you could equip the robot with gas detection sensors, temperature sensors, magnetic survey sensors, radiation detectors, infrared cameras, fire suppression agents, or chemical neutralizers. FRIGO-M could also be used to collect preliminary data at disaster, terror, or crime scenes. This would reduce the risks to responders while simultaneously making it possible to collect information quickly and safely. This new robot would also be useful for conducting facility inspections. FRIGO-M is capable of accessing narrow, confined spaces such as underneath floors. This laborsaving robot could take over tasks previously performed by people, and it can collect and record quantitative data. FRIGO-M could also perform security management functions by connecting it with a monitoring center to act as a patrol robot that could detect suspicious individuals or abnormal conditions.
