Todd Picket, Biola University's Dean of Spiritual Life, offers commentary on Brett McCracken's new book, Hipster Christianity. Recognizing trendy pop cultural fads requires a discerning mind and a courageous heart. Author Brett McCraken has both, which he ably puts to work in his book, Hipster Christianity. This celebrated book has been discussed in the Wall Street Journal, the New Yorker, Christianity Today and several other mainstream outlets. It entertains and enlightens about how a new sociological identity has been forged by cross-dressing "cool" and "Christian" out of a quest for authenticity.
