Katy Perry totally channeled her inner flapper at the City of Hope event in the heart of Los Angeles, California! 

KP who always wows on the carpet debuted a completely different look than we've seen as of late! Her recent arrivals have been a little on the darker side with vampy makeup and her purple hair—but this one was way retro! 

Sporting a peachy Vintage dress, Katy Perry couldn't have looked more dolled up for the event. The dress just had thin straps and flowed into a long satin frock! 

The neckline was extremely embellished right around the bust with intricate stitch work and some diamond additions. A dress like this definitely isn't right for every body type—but Katy has the figure to pull it off! 

She stayed true to her theme by accessorizing the dress with a double wrapped pearl necklace, chunk rings and a multi colored feather. Plus, we have to note her nails which we're a rad ying yang pattern which didn't really match, but still looked cool! 

For shoes, Katy took a spin on retro with a vintage looking pair of Manolo Blahnik heels with a silver embellishment! 

For her makeup, Katy went super dark and dramatic, but stayed away from the vampy theme. The eye shadow and voluminous lashes looked elegant instead of punky! And for her lips, she just did a light maroon color for a little colorful addition! 

And last but not least, Katy finished it off with a fun flapper inspired hair accessory that I'm sure we'll be seeing in the Great Gatsby! She put this right on her hairline—which side not was pulled into a retro faux bob that was to die!
