In July 1999 Queensland Rail ran a tour from Brisbane to Cairns. While in Cairns, a side tour was run up the range from Cairns to Kuranda and onto Mareeba. This video shows highlights of the climb up the famous Kuranda range behind QR's restored steam locomotive BB18¼ 1079.
