Heavy flooding in Arlington, Virginia, has turned a car park into a standing whirlpool.
 
Following constant rain bombardments, the tarmac at Joint Base Myers-Henderson Hall turned into a tidal pool on August 21.
 
As retired marine Paul Brickley panned across the parking lot, it’s clear that the water has come hallway up the tyres on a big SUV.
 
Paul said: “The parking lot is in a bit of a depression next to a creek so was flooded heavily.
