1980s Coin Operated Steam Engine Kiddie Ride

Filmed at Blackpool Pleasure Beach on August 23rd 2018. This steam engine was released by Amutec of Mablethorpe in the 1980s and remained a very popular ride on both sides of the Atlantic for many years. It came in a wide variety of different colours. This model has been refurbished, probably by JNC Sales, with new sound effects and stickers. Unfortunately, my audio recorder picked up a lot of noise from the mechanism but it was still clearer than the original film due to the poor weather and wind. I certainly learned my lesson regarding putting my audio recorder directly on the ride's seat!
