Horrified at the thought, the Grand Vizier's daughter and a childhood friend of the Sultan, Scheherezade (Mili Avital, Stargate), offers herself to be the bride. and attempts to cure his madness by telling him a series of imaginative stories, including the tales of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Aladdin. But the Sultan's villainous brother is making plans of his own and Scheherezade's stories are perhaps more useful against him than anyone can anticipate. Also featuring Jason Scott Lee (Dragon:The Bruce Lee Story), Rufus Sewell (A Knight's Tale) and directed by Steve Barron (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) Arabian Nights is an epic scale adventure, bristling with magic and boldly celebrating the grand allure of classic storytelling.
