The poodle breed is found in small, medium, and large sizes and in many coat colors. Originally bred as a type of water dog, the poodle is skillful in many dog sports. Poodles are also elegant dogs. Poodles are retrievers or gun dogs and can still be seen in that role. The French name for the poodle is caniche, referring to ducks and the poodle's water dog origins. Poodles are people-oriented dogs and generally eager to please. Featuring a vast array of popular themes, such as the four seasons, water, animals, nature, adventure, travel and destinations ... set to music.
