Like us on FB too, y'all! (http://www.facebook.com/gemsonvhs) How do I put this - this mysterious, classical wielding siren struck me like lightning. She opened for Erin Rae & John Davey at a house show one magical night, and I had to know more. I chatted with her & her bandmate for a bit. Insulted her hometown (I hate clarkesville!), learned they weren't really a band (i'm not buyin it.), and just generally stumbled around casual conversation (not my strong point!). So I invited them to Cafe Coco with us all for an after-house-show jam fest and merry making. She played this, and literally (&embarrassingly) left me speechless. Positively enchanted. Haunting vocals, following me in my head all day. I think it translated to video quite well, don't you? You may recognize this setting from our Jo'shua Odine video from a year ago. Why does magic always happen at this little corner of the universe?
