This elevator could be called a shuttle elevator because it connects the upper Parking deck with the upper street level. To go from lower street level to upper street level, you first take the parking garage elevator to the highest floor and then take this elevator to finally reach the upper street level. These elevators are quite scary. I wanted to use the parking deck elevator to go to the highest parking level. It started moving, but after having moved a few inches it suddenly stopped and opened the doors after a while. Apparently, somebody had called it after it had already left - and the elevator answered this call, without even releveling. Well, after that, the elevator started moving again, but after a while went into leveling speed for no obvious reason and then stopped between floors. Luckily it started acting normal after I pressed the floor button again. Sadly, I did not get that incident on camera. However, here is another take of that elevator: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGX71WBZvCg. Technical specifications: Brand: H. Braun Capacity: 1000kg / ~2205lbs / 13 people Type: hydraulic (roped, 2:1 transmission) Year built: 2000 Travel distance: 2 stops
