And according to Number Ten sources this does not mean there are ‘major problems’ over the agreement. No, a head of state making two unscheduled meetings in a week is just normal stuff eh?

The PM also spoke with her Spanish counterpart, Spain’s PM Pedro Sanchez, and Number Ten says they had a ‘good engagement’ and that discussions over Gibraltar would continue.

My discussion would be, there will be no discussion over the future of Gibraltar.

Anyway, something’s given because the news breaking at the moment, is that a political declaration on the future relationship between the UK and EU after Brexit has been ‘agreed in principle’. That’s according to the EU council.

This means someone must have given ground on something somewhere, and you have to ask yourself what is it and who?
