The 2009 Washington Town & Country Fair runs Wednesday, Aug. 5, through Sunday, Aug. 9. Here, co-chair John Kleekamp and chair Joyce Jones ride an elephant with Elephant Encounters, an attraction at this year's Fair. Queen contestants also practice for their pageant, held the opening night of the Fair.
