For years I have been telling my students that the best way to get hired is to stand out from other applicants and make sure that the employer knows that you really want the job. This video was my attempt to practice what I preached. In 2010, I applied for a part-time position as a mentor teacher for the Foundation for Teaching Economics (FTE). I submitted this video as part of my application. I didn't get the job....the other applicant was a better singer:)
