Each year students at San Pasqual High School create music videos that include key concepts form AP microeconomics. The students choose their own groups and topics. They have one week and two weekends to create the video. The music videos are more for fun than for assessing student understanding of the content but I find them to be an effective way for students to transition from microeconomics to macroeconomics. This is one of the top five videos of the class of 2010. The video was created by Chelsea Trude, Lisa Reid, Jean Halstead-Doucette, and Shleby Griffin. The song is a parody of "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift.
