Kapenguria MP says counties have failed to manage health care

As the Nurses strike continues to cripple the health sector, some political leaders are now calling for the national government to manage the health sector instead of the Counties. Kapenguria Member of Parliament Samuel Moroto says health care management under county governments, is facing a lot of challenges hence the many strikes that have been witnessed since the sector was devolved. He lashed out at the County and national governments over the accusations and counter accusations on pay rise of health workers in the country, which has resulted in the nurses strike. Moroto urged Kenyans to be ready for a referendum after the August general election to take back the health sector to the National government
