Cut-throat competition for various elective seats among key parties within the NASA coalition, may be a cause for concern, and the signs started to show during an IFTAR attended by NASA principals in mombasa. Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who is also Raila Odinga's running mate under the NASA ticket may have lit the fire when he took to the podium, and asked Mombasa residents not to vote in blocks and in favour of ODM, but to also consider Wiper candidates.ODM leader Raila Odinga was however marking his territory, drumming up support for ODM candidates. There are concerns that the in-house struggle for various seats could be a gift for the jubilee side, that has been making overtures in the region. The leaders had joined the muslim community for iftar in mombasa, after a day of campaigns in taita taveta county.
