Kajiado residents dump illegal slot machines at county commissioner’s office

The Kajiado county administration was forced to conduct a crackdown on gambling machines in the county after Members of the public raided gambling establishments before dumping the machines at the deputy county commissioners office. The members of public, who forcibly closed down the businesses running involved in gambling said that the machines were grooming criminals in the area. They blamed the county administration for failing to curb what they now call a menace adding that the youth were staying away from meaningful activities. Kajiado county commissioner David Kipkemei assured the public that the government would ensure security to all Kenyans.
