As part of the "Aizu Manpower Development Project" by the Fukushima Semiconductor Industry Association, students from the Aizu and Kitakata Technical High Schools in Fukushima Prefecture exhibited an "automatic glove equipping device", a "robot with a magic power line (powered non-linear penetrating type transfer robot)", and a set of "idea tools" at SEMICON Japan 2008. Each of these devices was developed in cooperation with sponsoring companies.
