It is disheartening to arrive somewhere in a downpour, late at night and then be served a cold dinner meant to be HOT! Depressed and exhausted, the four of us went to sleep hoping the sights of Baguio would be better than this pathetic beginning.

Morning brought sunshine and a fast tour of Baguio. A stop at the "Mansion," summer residence for the President of the Philippines. This building was built in 1908 as summer homes of U.S. Governor-Generals, the American administrators for the Philippines.

From there to Wright Park with pink-maned horses, views of Burham Park (designed and named after one of Chicago's great architects and planners, Daniel Hudson Burnham. Daniel Burnham also designed the original plan for Baguio City. What a surprise! Please don't forget to Subscribe Share and Like. Thanks.
