Join me in this Corel Painter tutorial as I create a simple character piece that really stands out on social media sites & shouts 'LIKE ME!'

In this lesson, I'll use a series of simple Painter brushes and techniques to build the digital illustration up quickly and then blend and colour the painting until finished.

This digital painting took 3hrs to create and has been sped-up to 20mins for the sakes of this tutorial. Hopefully it gives you a great insight into how I work in Painter and how Corel Painter can work for you. 

In this lesson we'll explore how to sketch out a character and block in the bulk work of the painting. Next we'll move on to blending the paint together to create tones, and highlights within our concept piece as well as defining shapes on the hand, armour and face. Within our 20min time frame we'll also paint back lighting and detail to the eyes as well as other small embellishments to finish up our quick piece of art!
