Michelle Williams rocked her peplum at the Academy Awards—the red Louis Vuitton gown was the perfect use of a peplum. It cinched her waist, but gave us something extra frilly to look at around her hips! 

And Blake Lively donned a Jason Wu peplum at the Jason Wu for Target launch party. I love the fit flare style on her—again it draws us into her waist, but the peplum changes the where our attention goes.
