Gov't Needs Two-Thirds Majority To Restore Sabah, Sarawak Status

The federal government needs to secure a two-thirds majority in parliament in order to make amendments to the Federal Constitution to restore the rights of Sabah and Sarawak as outlined in the Malaysia Agreement 1963, MA 63. According to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, would also require support from the opposition which can only be seen when the time comes in parliament.
