South African soul singer who sang with the John Drake Trio in the 1960s, as well as solo. During the early 1970s she pursued a singing career in London, England, performing with Happy Medium, The Stylists, Family Child, and also solo. Several of the songs she wrote were recorded by well-known artists such as Shirley Bassey, e.g. "Run On And On And On". This song is off the album "Mercia Love", released in 1967. It's a cover of a Fontella Bass song from 1965.
