Original Poem by BeyondBracelets

As nights become colder, the leaves begin to fall, fluttering to the ground. As I walk to my mailbox in the crisp morning light, they make a crunching sound. Letters from loved ones have arrived today, wishing me well from far away. Admiring the beauty around me as I walk back down the drive, I look up and just thank God that I'm alive. Little things, joys untold, will give me great happiness, until the day I've grown old.
