Fireplace woodstove insert generates warmth and is a practical solution for unused chimneys. If your fire goes out when the doors are closed, then the cold downdraft is not letting rising heat from the fire warm the stove pipe, that runs through the length of the chimney to the roof. Don't open the doors of the woodstove when the blower fan is running. Open the flue all the way when starting a fire. This allows the most air to feed the fire. When it gets hot, then close the flue half-way, to conserve wood, while allowing the maximum amount of heat to warm the room. #WoodstoveInsert #FireplaceInsert
