Meet Molly and Mae, two little Shetland pony mares who are almost exactly the same size, almost exactly the same colour and have almost exactly the same birthday! Watch as 'The Girls', as they were affectionately known when they were with us, tackle all manner of new things, both together as a pair and learning to rely on their own confidence going single. They both made a lot of progress over their training, going from completely unable to watch the other walk out of the stable, to 'waving them off' and making the most of sole access to the hay rack until it was their turn to go to work! The pair seemed to really take to driving and we are sure it will not be too long before they are equipped with a cart and harnesses, ready to take on the driving scene with their family back home. In this video, they tackle the arena both together and separately, face traffic with wheels as tall as they are, cross rivers up to their tummies and take a trip into town on a rainy day (ft. the friendly local butchers' covered alleyway - neither Rhi nor the ponies could afford to risk shrinking whilst Baz nipped to the shop!) Keep an eye out for these two in a future video, where we invited a friend over for them one morning to set up a matching unicorn team -although she's even smaller than them!
