11-year-old boy seriously burned in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Ohio (WKRC) -- An 11-year-old boy suffered serious burns in Franklin, Ohio while using a fire pit Tuesday.

A firefighter said the child used an accelerant on the outdoor fire at Rooks Lane, causing it to flare up and injure him.

A medical helicopter took the boy to Children's Hospital. There is no information regarding his condition.
