The government's commitment to uphold Sabah's rights as enshrined in the 1963 Malaysia Agreement, will be the focus of the 14th general election manifesto for the state. Foreign Minister, Datuk Seri Anifah Aman said the struggle for Sabah's right was important for the rakyat and he hoped something positive would be achieved soon. He was speaking to reporters after attending a dialogue session with the people of Sabah in Kota Kinabalu last night. Datuk Seri Anifah added that the Barisan Nasional government's commitment to resolving the issue was not intended to lure votes as the opposition claims. He explained that it was for the interest of the state and its people as well as for future generations. (Soundbite Of Datuk Seri Anifah Aman / Foreign Minister.)
