Search of Hamilton Freshman School student turns up loaded gun

HAMILTON, Ohio (WKRC) - A search of a local student turned up a loaded gun at Hamilton Freshman School Wednesday.

Administrators said they did a search because they believed the 16-year-old had an e-cigarette. 

Police immediately put the ninth grader in custody. The gun was stolen in a burglary in early November.

There wasn't a lockdown because they decided there wasn't a threat.
