CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The guest for Wednesday's regularly scheduled "Connect to Congress" segment was Kentucky Senator Rand Paul. 

He spoke to Local 12's Paula Toti from Washington about the firing of James Comey from the FBI. 

He says it couldn't have come soon enough. 

He says there were bi-partisan cries against Comey and that he does not question the timing of the firing or the attorney general weighing in on the firing when the AG recused himself from the investigation into Russian ties to the election.
