But I do appreciate seeing other people's mistakes on woodworking projects, and I thought this mistake might make for an interesting story. In brief... after making a cut, I turned off the saw and was trying to position the piece to be nicely in frame for the camera. I was trying to get a look at the camera display, and the piece slipped out of my fingers and fell onto the still-spinning-down saw blade. My hand was nowhere near the blade, but dividing my attention like that around the saw was still a mistake.
