How to replace an iPad front glass screen. Hint: Use a heat gun, know where the obstacles are, and remember to not leave any fingerprints on the screen when you close it.

The front glass screen is also called a digitizer because it digitizes your touch signal on the screen.

This needs to be lint free to get it crystal clear or else you'll end up with annoying lint between the glass and screen.

You don't need a fancy one if you do not use a heat gun normally. Hence you can get a cheap one. I got mine at Harbor Freight if you have one of those near you. .
