- It does and that's why I think that training yourself that this is writing time helps because now you don't have that like revving up your mind is just okay this is writing time and you just start it you have a less less of a barrier.

I also find like again the outline is critical and you know I work with a writing coach now and in my company Book Launchers all our clients work with a writing coach because I also find the other thing that stops you is questioning whether this is any good and doubting yourself and kind of that fear and that you know that's so real for me and I know it's real for a lot of our clients which is why I brought in somebody to kind of coach you and they'll say you know this this could be a little stronger here's where you might need to make it stronger but now you're not worried is this any good

- Did you find that I mean for you you started noticing what was going on in the market and you had a you had your story because things that you are experiencing and through the conversations that you were having with people you've got feedback almost immediately that they were interested in doing that. For someone that maybe has not done that yet do you think it's a vital piece to start to seek evidence that the topic that you're thinking of creating or writing about is going to be of interest cuz so often we can write something or create something that we think is going to be of interest but unfortunately it is not. Do you want to share some strategies around that?


- Yeah that's a great topic I think you really want to be careful that you don't write a book that has an audience of one so I think while you want to write a book that is you know has your unique spin is like the book that only you can write because it's your stories at the same time you really want to make sure that you have a great audience and that audience is the people that you want to connect with my best advice without going in you know this could be an entire episode but you really want to be testing it along the way and the very first thing is test that introduction.

If you're what I found is whenever I would get lost in my writing I would come back to my
introduction and it kind of grounded me so again that outline and then writing that introduction if you've got a great introduction and you'll know this because you'll send it out to the people
who you think are your ideal readers and get their input and if you're not getting consistently like oh my gosh I can't wait until you write this book.

Then you might want to start over and kind of rethink your hook and rethink you know what this book is about it might just be that it's really interesting to you but not other people and a lot of times that doesn't mean you have to change the content so it's just an angle right it's all about you know in my book ultimately taught people how to invest into real estate but the angle wasn't how to invest in real estate, the angle was you know you know real estate investing is really scary and you can lose a lot of money if you do it wrong yeah absolutely they were great insights there
