The much anticipated Zimbabwe elections were marred by violent protests after supporters ,of the opposition MDC, took to the streets of Bulawayo and Harare. Protestors decried the preliminary results which saw ZanuPF's Emmerson Mnangagwa take the lead. Deadly clashes broke out in Zimbabwe after the country went to the polls in its historic election , being the first, since the fall of Robert Mugabe.
