Car struck by falling piece of overpass in Norwood

NORWOOD, Ohio (WKRC) - Part of an overpass fell and struck a car causing it to crash in Norwood Sunday evening.

It happened on I-71 southbound just past the Norwood Lateral, according to police dispatch.

Dispatch confirmed that something did fall from an overpass, hitting a car below, but it's unclear what the object was.

They also reported injuries, but haven't offered any further details.

The left lane was temporarily blocked.
