Lee Strobel addresses graduates at Biola University's Fall 2008 Commencement Exercises on December 19, 2008. Though once an atheist, Lee Strobel is now described by the Washington Post as "one of the evangelical community's most popular apologists." Strobel is a New York Times best-selling author of nearly twenty award-winning books including The Case for Christ, The Case for Faith, The Case for a Creator, Inside the Mind of Unchurched Harry and Mary, and God's Outrageous Claims. Strobel received a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri, earned his Master of Studies in Law degree from Yale Law School, and worked as an award-winning legal editor of the Chicago Tribune. His ministry experience has included serving as a teaching pastor at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois and at Saddleback Valley Community Church in Lake Forest, California.
