This late '40's Sears Silvertone radio/record player followed me home today. When I first saw it, I was expecting to find a 3-speed record changer under the lid because I had two of these, about 20 years ago, and both of them used VM 900 series 3-speed record changers. This one, however, uses a 78 rpm single speed record changer; so, these models were likely made when they were switching from single speed changers to multi-speed changers. If anyone can ID who made the record changer in this one, I'd appreciate it.
