This is a 1947 Sears Silvertone model 7070 5 tube AM radio / 78 rpm manually operated phonograph. I replaced all the old capacitors in the chassis, replaced the power cord, cleaned the tube sockets and controls, and had the original crystal cartridge rebuilt. It works OK; but, I still need to have the idler wheel rebuilt and replace the flocking on the turntable platter. I also think this rebuilt cartridge has too much output for this player; but, I can add a resistor across the cartridge to take care of that problem.
