Here's a Dahlberg branded coin operated tube radio that was designed to be used in hotels, motels, and hospitals. These were popular during the '40's-'50's and were designed to mount to a headboard. Most of these are missing the coin mechanism and/or the coin box key; but, this one is still all there. This radio was actually built by Setchell-Carlson and is a modified version of their "frog eye" radio. Back then, it cost ten cents/hour to listen to the radio.
