Day 5 in the Atlantic, Day 22 in the Eastern Pacific
Invest 91L continues to move slowly northwards in the Gulf of Mexico, and now has a 40% chance of development as per the NHC. This system is forecast by computer models to move northeastwards and strike the northern coast of Florida, perhaps as a tropical storm or hurricane. However, the track and intensity forecast remains uncertain, particularly considering the system hasn't even developed yet.
Invest 97W, a new system in the Pacific, is centered near the Talaud Islands between the bulk of Indonesia and the Philippine islands, and is not expected to develop
Invest 96A is currently interacting with the landmass of Oman in the Arabian Sea, and has a low chance of development due to land interaction and probable dry air intrusion that is common in this region.
