In this fiddle lesson I’ll show you how to play the raised third finger and the lower octave of the A major scale. We’ll also learn Twinkle Little Star and Oh Susannah in this lower register of the A scale. The lower octave of the A scale would be tabbed like this: G1-2-H3-D0-1-2-H3-A0 Twinkle in lower A scale G1-1-D1-1-2-2-1 D0-0-GH3-H3-2-2-1 D1-1-0-0-GH3-H3-2 D1-1-0-0-GH3-H3-2 G1-1-D1-1-2-2-1 D0-0-GH3-H3-2-2-1 Oh Susannah in lower A scale G1-2-H3-D1-1-2-1-GH3-1-2-H3-H3-2-1-2 G1-2-H3-D1-1-2-1-GH3-1-2-H3-H3-2—2-1-1 D0-0-2-2-2-1-2-1-GH3-2 G1-2-H3-D1-1-2-1-GH3-1-2-H3-H3-2—2-1-1 I made some “Learning Chunks” on the FiddleHed site to help you do this.
