Two Journalists Irene Mugo and Lydia Nyawira were yesterday arrested and detained for over an hour at Mukurweini Police Station. Albert Nderitu Was wearing a T-shirt Printed 'Kieleweke' to an event presided over by the Deputy President in Nyeri on Sunday. Mugo, a reporter with the Daily Nation and Nyawira of the Standard Group, were working on a report of a man arrested for wearing a T-Shirt carrying a Message deemed to be against Deputy President William Ruto. According to the family, Nderitu was required to pay a  cash bail of 50,000 shillings. The two journalists were arrested shortly after interviewing the family.
